ONS Cookers has been operating since 1985, establishing itself as the director of the Indian pressure cooker market. With three offices, two warehouses, one factory, and around 100 employees, ONS has grown to become a trusted name in cookware.
Since 2020, ONS has been exporting to nations on all six continents, with over 15 million cookware and pressure cookers sold globally. All ONS pressure cookers are listed by Underwriters Laboratories, an independent global agency that tests items for public safety.
In compliance with Indian government regulations effective February 1, 2021, all ONS pressure cookers manufactured and marketed in India are registered with the Bureau of Indian Standards and bear the ISI stamp.
A lid that fits within is a characteristic of every ONS pressure cooker. Compared to traditional pressure cookers, this design is by nature safer. To open any ONS cooker, you must first lower the lid a little bit into the cooker's body. This cannot be done until the steam pressure within the cooker drops to a safe level.

Shri Bhagwan Das Gupta founded ONS Cookers with a capital of Rs. 10,000, having to start again in midlife at age 47. He was raised by a father with limited resources but unwavering, devout beliefs. He achieved prosperity early in life, but the partition of India changed his life forever.
The company is based on his younger son Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta's selection of products, people, and values, the most essential of which are integrity, hard work, and customer satisfaction.
Twelve years after starting the Company, Shri Bhagwan Das Gupta stood down and passed over administration to his son, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, who had launched the Company in 1984 as Vice-Chairman and Managing Director before becoming Chairman and Managing Director and CEO in 1996.
In addition to his extensive experience and knowledge in management, marketing, and advertising, the company benefited greatly from his knowledge of the cookware and pressure cooker industries.
Mrs. Premlata Gupta became a managing director of ONS on January 31st, 2003. Mrs. Premlata received her B.com degree from the University of Delhi in 2000, where she studied commerce, finance, accounting, and business fundamentals, including economics, business law, and taxes.
She is married to Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, the C.E.O. of the Board of Directors. Her honorary contributions to the creation of instruction manuals and cookbooks, as well as to the testing and development of items in the ONS Test Kitchen, have been substantial for many years.
ONS began exporting to nations on all six continents, marking a significant milestone in the company's global presence.
Following the Government of India mandate effective February 1, 2021, all ONS pressure cookers manufactured and marketed in India were registered with the Bureau of Indian Standards, bearing both the ISI stamp and BIS certification.
Shri Bhagwan Das Gupta passed away in 2003, and his wife Shri Shanti Devi Gupta passed away in 2023. Their legacy continues through the company they built.

Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta became Chairman and Managing Director and CEO in 1996. His inspired leadership has been the primary reason that the company has been at the forefront of customer welfare and communication through packaging, point-of-sale merchandising, and advertising.
During his term as Chairman of the Board, the company established one more office in India and sales expanded over time.

The PEXA pressure cooker line is ONS' best-selling and most well-liked series due to its alluring mix of features, advantages, and cost. This was the initial series released by ONS, and it has been updated throughout time with several innovations and improvements.
Commercially pure virgin aluminium is used in the ONS PEXA Pressure Cooker, which uses induction. Affixable to the double-thick base is an external bottom plate made of magnetic stainless steel of AISI 430 grade. Every home gas, electric, halogen, ceramic, and induction cooktop may safely utilize it.

Hard anodizing was initially invented by Russian scientists to create a metal surface durable enough for space flight. ONS currently manufactures its Hard Anodized cookware and pressure cookers using the same technique.
Every function of the ONS MEXA BLACK pressure cooker is present in the Induction Compatible model. Furthermore, an AISI 430 grade magnetic stainless steel plate is permanently bonded to the 4.06 mm thick base, making the cooker induction compatible.
All of the features and advantages of the ONS MEXA Pressure Cooker are available in the HARD ANODISED variants, which include a hard anodized body and lid.
The ONS MEXA ADVOCATE Pressure Cooker's features are all included in the Induction Compatible model. The cooker is also induction compatible since it has a plate of AISI 430 grade magnetic stainless steel permanently fixed to the 4.06 mm thick base.

It features a better pressure controlling mechanism that keeps pressure within a tighter, more efficient range, decreases foamy food sprouting (like dal), and is easier to insert and remove.
Superior grade AISI 304 non-magnetic stainless steel is used to make the body and lid. The cooker's exterior base is made of AISI 430 magnetic stainless steel, making it induction compatible.
